Editorial · Conditions of use
Terms of service.
These terms govern your use of fintechpays.com, an editorial site published by FintechPays Editorial Co., UK LLP (Companies House #OC4451x). By reading the site you agree to these terms; if you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. The terms are written in plain language because clarity matters more than legal flourish.
What this site is
FintechPays is an editorial review desk. We grade fintech affiliate programs on a public rubric (12-month true-EPC, payout reliability, regulator status, and four other factors documented at /methodology/) and publish those gradings as comparative editorial content. We are journalism + commentary, not a financial-advisory firm. Reading our content does not establish an advisory, fiduciary, broker, or solicitor-client relationship.
Not financial advice
Our content describes financial products but is not personalised financial advice. We do not know your circumstances, risk tolerance, regulatory jurisdiction, or investment objectives. Every page that covers a regulated financial product also carries the capital-at-risk warning above the fold; that warning applies to everything we publish, not just the page you happen to be on. If you intend to act on anything you read here, please consult an authorised independent adviser regulated in your jurisdiction first.
Past performance figures and EPC estimates are historical or modelled and do not guarantee future results. Regulator coverage, commission structures, and clawback policies change frequently — we re-verify every 90 days, but a partner may change terms between our sweeps. Always check the partner's current published terms before acting.
Affiliate compensation
FintechPays earns commissions on most of the programs we cover, paid by the partner when a reader clicks one of our links and completes an action on the partner's site. We disclose this on every page via the affiliate disclosure stripe, on every program card via the ¶ affiliate caption, and in detail at /disclosure/. Compensation does not influence our editorial gradings; ranks are set by the public rubric and audited internally. We publish a defunct archive at /defunct/ documenting programs we removed and why — so the editorial trail stays honest about failures.
Intellectual property
The text, gradings, scoring rubric, design system, and structured data on fintechpays.com are © 2026 FintechPays Editorial Co. except where otherwise attributed. You may quote short passages of our editorial content for review, commentary, or news reporting under standard fair-dealing principles, with attribution and a link back to the source page. You may not republish substantial passages, mirror the gradings as a dataset, scrape the comparison tables, or use our content to train commercial machine-learning models without prior written permission.
Brand names, regulator codes, and product names mentioned across the site belong to their respective owners and are used for editorial identification only.
Acceptable use
When using the site, please don't: (a) attempt to bypass our access controls, (b) scrape the site at a rate that meaningfully degrades it for other readers, (c) impersonate FintechPays or our editors, (d) attempt to inject content via any vector (we have no user-generated-content surface — if you find one we missed, please tell us at editorial@fintechpays.com), or (e) use any of our content to deceive readers about a regulated product. We reserve the right to block IP ranges and report abuse to the relevant authorities.
Third-party content and links
When you click an affiliate link or any external reference, you leave fintechpays.com and enter a third-party site governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control third-party sites and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security, or treatment of your data. Inclusion of a link is editorial — it is not an endorsement of every aspect of the linked service.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, that gradings will remain current between our 90-day re-verification sweeps, or that the site will be free of errors. We do not warrant that any specific result will follow from reading or relying on our content. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by English law, FintechPays Editorial Co., its members, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site or any content on it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
Changes to the service or these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time — for example, if we materially change the site (add a newsletter, contact form, comment system) or if a regulatory development requires it. When we do, we will publish a revised version here with a new "last reviewed" date and a brief summary of what changed. Continued use of the site after a revision is taken as acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these terms in your country of residence.
